Safe fire fighting methods for electrical fire
Objectives : At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
• know how to safely handle and extinguish a fire caused by electricity.
Requirements
Tools/Equipment’s/Instruments
• Dummy electrical setup (no real current) - 1 No. • Rubber gloves - 1 Set.
• CO or DCP fire extinguisher - 1 No. • Rubber mat - 1 No.

PROCEDURE
TASK 1 : How to fight an electrical fire safety
Step 1: Look and identify fire • Never throw water. It can give an electric shock.
• Fire is coming from wire, plug, or switch. • Water is dangerous for electric fires.
